The Sentinel Class Drone is a custom designed First Person Viewer (FPV) drone that can be built as either a Quadcopter or Hexcopter orientation. The Sentinel 64 is assembled in the UK, with high grade carbon fiber manufactured in China. The Sentinel 64 is the best drone of its kind that offers a Hexcopter orientation for five inch props. For weary hobbiests, the hex frame can be converted to a quad frame with two additional Universal Arms in case of damage. There are a limited 24 frame kits currently available. The carbon fiber is top quality, and cut to a very tight tolerance.

What Hardware Should I Use for a FPV HexCopter Drone?

Building on a Hex has some challenges, including lack of 6-in-1 ESC's, limited flight controllers that can handle 6 motors, and what kv values for 6s/4s. This section seeks to share previous builds that have worked to make it easier for Sentinel Hex copter DroneMakers to choose and build parts. All parts listed in this section have been confirmed to work.

RASS is pleased to announce the first successful maiden flight of the Sentinel 64. It was done by none other than Mr. Taylor at Red Kite Dynamics. You can find his build order and insta here; there is talk of flight footage, but we shall see.

RASS is pleased to present a Hydrodipped version of the Sentinel64 in hex configuration. This beauty was built in Texas and is a true ripper. Thanks' John for making the Sentinel look so damn good!!
